North Carolina Zoo

Spanning over 500 developed acres, the North Carolina Zoo is the world's largest natural habitat zoo. It houses more than 1,800 animals representing over 250 species from Africa and North America. Visitors can explore expansive habitats like the Watani Grasslands, Rocky Coast, and Cypress Swamp. The zoo also offers attractions such as giraffe feeding, a butterfly house, carousel, ropes course, and various play areas for children.
